Israeli Draft Law - Tax on Digital Services



The Israeli Tax Authority hops to amend the VAT Law in such a way that would require nonresident suppliers of digital services to register and account for value added tax in Israel. So far, a draft bill has been submitted by the Israeli Tax Authority that signals the next development in taxation and that will obviously have a dramatic effect on the activities of various big companies such as Google, Facebook and Amazon.

Israel Tax Plan for 2017-2018



The Israel Tax Proposals for 2017-2018 budget include major changes with respect to Israeli international taxation. The Israel Tax Proposals for 2017-2018 would be relevant mainly for individuals in Israel, foreign companies operating in Israel, and Israeli companies operating abroad. Israeli Tax Law on Residency

The Israeli Supreme Court ruled recently that an Israeli who resides abroad can be considered for Israeli tax purposes as a person whose center of life is not in Israel, even if his family lives in Israel (Kfar Saba Assessing Officer vs Michael Sapir, Civil Appeal
4862/13).

Tax Havens and Israeli Tax Law



The recent reports that Benjamin Netanyahu held an offshore bank account in the tax haven of Jersey led to public discussions in Israel. See -
